Grief is a normal process and people grieve differently. Many times people become concerned because they haven’t cried or because they feel numb. Yet others think “if they don’t talk about it, the thoughts and feelings will go away.” It is best to acknowledge the feelings attributed to the loss. Therapy can help!
Sometimes, people feel they have to be “strong” and not show emotions. Showing emotions and asking for help is the real test of strength. Needing and reaching out to people is one of the greatest gifts we have.
People like helping people!
