About Vicki Rubin

Vicki Rubin is a psychotherapist, licensed in Florida and New York. As a former teacher, she wondered why some children acted out more than others and then decided to pursue clinical social work. She graduated from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and continued with training at the Training Institute for Mental Health Practitioners. She followed up with various classes at Nova's Postgraduate Training Institute.

Mrs. Rubin has taught substance abuse classes at the Miami University and the Training Institute for Chemical Dependency in Miami. She was an adjunct faculty to Barry University. Currently, as a certified SAP (Substance Abuse Professional), she performs assessments/evaluations for the Department of Transportation and various corporations. As a certified Crisis Counselor, she also offers crisis counseling to many of the major corporations after a traumatic event.

Mrs. Rubin worked in a non-profit agency, helping teens and their families before entering into private psychotherapy. She has had offices in North Miami, Miami, and Pembroke Pines. Currently she is in practice in Davie and Boca Raton, serving clients from Cooper City, Weston, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, SW Ranches, Hollywood, Boca Raton, Boyton Beach, Wellington, and Deerfield Beach.
